Is your behavior in the child normal or abnormal? 4 signs indicating that

1- First of all, we should look at the age and development of the child.

E.g; While it is normal for a 2.5-year-old child to be stubborn and selfish, these traits are abnormal for a 10-year-old.

2- We must look at the intensity of the behavior in question.

E.g; If the adolescent child shows his anger with aggressive attitudes, it is not normal if he cannot control his anger.

3- We must look at the continuity of the behavior in question.

E.g; It is not normal for a child over the age of 5 to wet his bottom for at least 3 months.

4- We should observe whether he behaves in accordance with his sexual identity.

So; We expect a boy to behave like a boy, and a girl like a girl.

During the development process, there are constant changes in the child’s behavior, this is completely normal. Just as the child is developing physically, that is, he / she gets taller and gains weight; The child also shows cognitive, emotional and social developments. All of these developments affect the child’s behavior positively or negatively. As the child develops, there will always be ups and downs, but the main issue is whether there is a root problem underlying the child’s behavior. Root problems manifest themselves as reflected problems, that is, they appear as abnormal behaviors in the child.

Therefore, do not immediately tag your child in the face of a behavior that disturbs you, try to understand why your child is actually showing this behavior. Remember that parents should be the most important observers and guides in the healthy development of their children.
