Since cucumbers are healthy and water-tanking vegetables, let’s try to consume them daily. Cucumbers are also good for suppressing the feeling of hunger with its high water content and low calorie.

Lettuce contains 96 percent water. One cup (72 grams) of lettuce provides a quarter cup (59 ml) of water in addition to 1 gram of dietary pulp.

Pumpkin has a water rate of 95 percent. It is also a great source of water for the body. But when cooked, it loses some of its water content.

Tomato is rich in lycopene, tomato is one of the vegetables with a high rate of water. It has 94 percent water content.

Since about 91 percent of the weight of strawberries comes from water, consuming strawberries will contribute to your water intake. In addition, strawberries provide plenty of fiber, disease-fighting antioxidants, and vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, folate, and manganese.

Watermelon 1 cup (154 grams) of watermelon has more than half a cup (118 ml) of water, plus dietary fiber, vitamin C, vitamin A and magnesium.

Citrus fruits contain 95 percent water, lemon 90 percent and grapefruit 91 percent, helping to prevent thirst.

Avoid excessive fatty and spicy food consumption. Prefer grill, oven, sautéing and steaming methods instead of frying as cooking method. Make sure you consume enough fruits and vegetables for iftar and suhoor. Consuming acidic beverages or juices can make you feel more thirsty. Instead, head towards water and mineral water during the month of Ramadan, ”he said.
