Fidan stated that apart from the activities during the day, there were also differences in the sleep pattern. Stating that the changes in the sunrise and sunset hours affect the metabolism and thus the sleep pattern, Fidan continued his words as follows: “During the days that extend into the summer and the shortening of the night, the sleep pattern must be resettled.
People should reorganize their work and educational processes according to their sleep and wakefulness hours. Especially in the spring, allergies can disrupt the sleep pattern. In situations that we call ‘seasonal allergic rhinitis’, our sleep patterns can be divided depending on nasal congestion during the night and at certain periods during the day. For this reason, our sleep health may be interrupted.
In order to minimize this effect, we recommend that people take outdoor walks and benefit from daylight even if it is not too long during the day. After sunset, it should go to sleep around 22:00, including adults. “Disrupting sleep time can lead to a decrease in daily activity and work success.
