Stating that nutrition should be simplified in Ramadan and should not be thought of as a food feast, Assoc. Dr. G√ľnay Eskici pointed out that filling the tables too much during iftar meals can lead to weight gain, especially with the effect of the decrease in physical activity during the pandemic period. Touching on the importance of getting up for sahur during Ramadan, Eskici said that the healthiest food for sahur is breakfast.
