‘BABY IS BORN IN A STERILE ENVIRONMENT WITH CAESARIAN’
Prof. Dr. Şekerel stated that there is an immune system to protect the body, that this immune system develops itself over time, and that there should be some conditions in this development, and continued as follows:
“One of them is that bacteria must be found in the intestines and they play a role in their education. When the baby comes out through the uterus canal in normal birth, some bacteria are encountered from its mother. It is born in a very sterile environment when it is done by cesarean section. As a matter of fact, antibiotics are also the risk of developing food allergy when babies are given too much antibiotics. Or the effort to be excessively hygienic or when we use too much detergent, the flora of babies is negatively affected and prepares the ground for food allergy. When food allergy is well managed, it is not a problem for children. It is like electricity. We want mothers not to demoralize and to cooperate appropriately with their physicians. “
