When we are stressed, our adrenal glands secrete a hormone called cortisol, which negatively affects our body’s energy balance. In fact, as a result of excessive cortisol production, it causes unnecessary water retention (edema) in the body and excessive water demand after our body uses this water.
When we drink ginger tea with honey and milk every morning for breakfast, we get rid of the constipation problem we experience by strengthening the bowel movements thanks to the substance called gingerol in ginger. Ginger tea with milk protects our body against depression and stress by reducing the production of cortisol and regulating the release of dopamine and serotonin hormones. Since ginger tea with milk also triggers the production of digestive enzymes, we get less hungry and we get rid of belly webs more easily.
Honey Milk Ginger Tea
What is required?
Fresh ginger 1-2 thin slices or ½ teaspoon ground ginger, 1 teaspoon honey, 1 glass of boiled water or 1 coffee pot hot water
How is it prepared?
If you are using fresh ginger, peel the hard skin like a potato and cut 2 thin slices. If it is powdered ginger, put ½ teaspoon of powdered ginger in the coffee pot to be brewed and cover it with a saucer so that its aroma does not disappear while it is boiling. Boil for 10 minutes on low heat, then turn off the heat and wait for 5 minutes.
Fill 1/3 of the teacup with this brewed tea by straining it. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey into it and fill it with milk at the end.
Those who do not like the taste of milk can put some lemon juice in it instead of milk, but the presence of milk both prevents you from getting hungry and makes your digestive system work more easily.
